Another Sock Nut

Hooray for this group! I've been thinking for a while that I need to stash dive more often, not because of a desire to stashalong but because I have pretties in there that I may forget about if they're left there long enough. So!

I have a bit too much sock yarn to put it all into a bag and draw one out, so I took a geekier route. I exported my Ravelry stash to Excel, deleted all but the sock yarn, added in the stash yarns I haven't photographed, then used a random number generator to pick a row for me. It chose 47, which is Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sport in Flames. There's just the one skein, left over from a pair of gift socks last year, so I've decided on a pair of Coriolis ankle socks.

Started this morning.

I love the colour! I noticed that you are doing toe up socks. I tried the toe up method....ugh! I just couldn't get it. Does someone have a easy way? I really want to master this method this year because there are some lovely patterns for toe ups
