Modified Whitby's

I've finally gotten started on some socks for January.
Of course, I started with some of my newest yarn.
This is Socks that Rocks in the Ravenscroft colorway on size #0 needles.

The pattern is from Nancy Bush's Knitting on the Road. It's modified from the Whitby pattern with 65 stitches.

Here's a close upon the cable work. I love the way these are working up so far.

I love the detail in the pattern. I noticed you are knitting two at same time on circulars. Do you have a site I can go to learn this technique. Is it hard?

thank you very much for the kind words.

Socklady, There is a site.

I knit almost all of my socks at the same time on 2 circular needles. I really enjoy the flow of the work. Plus, you have them both finished at one time. No second sock syndrome. I taught myself with the above website for pictures so I don't think of it as hard. It's more of a scheduling issue, knowing when to do each part.

Looks like you've got a great start! I've made Nancy Bush's Whitby socks from her "Knitting on the Road." Glad to see the website for knitting 2 at the same time on circulars.

Very nice! I was going to kknit this pattern next but it all went wrong - your yarn was a far better match for the pattern than mine!
