Owl progression

The owl socks are progressing & this morning looked like this:

The pattern is simple but looks quite effective:

Broad Spiral Ribbing pattern
Broad Spiral Ribbing pattern


I searched for a pattern that wouldn't clash with the stripes & think I've found it.

I like them so far. They already look comfortable -- the type of pattern/color combo that makes you want to sit and wiggle your toes in warmth.

Those look great--pattern doesn't interfere with the striping at all. I've knit a pair in the same yarn and they're my most-worn socks.
