Stop the presses -- I have selected the first victim!! (Okay… maybe it's not that important, dramatic, or violent, but me making a decision is definitely news.) Behold:

Yarntini, in the Mimosa colorway. This is to be turned into Anne Hanson's Teosinte socks. My niece, who has excellent taste, claimed this for herself. Although I was initially shocked, dismayed, horrified, and -- I must confess -- trying to figure out a way to get her to change her mind for something slightly more suitable for a six-year old fashionista, it's probably a good thing she did. I was more of the frame of mind to simply let this beauty marinate in the stash… pet it every once in a while… admire it from afar. This way it'll actually get knit.
One toe down, one more to go, and then I progress up both feet at once, magic loop. I'll post a progress picture when there's something worth showing.
Onward, y'all!

The yarn is beautiful and the pattern looks great too! Can't wait to see them.
The yarn is great and I never thought of making the toes first and then magic looping the rest!! excellent idea that I may try!
