I couldn't help it.... I cast on for my mom's socks. At xmas she was kinda bummed because she didn't get a new pair of socks... so I promised her my first pair for 2008 and ensured she would get a pair before the end of January because of joining the KAL.
I am doing a pair of ankle socks with a 50 gram ball of camo colored Regia in garter rib. So far I am about 3 in into the first sock and it is going well. Updates will follow.. along with more sock knitting excitement....GL to all knitters!!!

Now that I have had a friend pick out the yarn and I choose a pattern, I am having a hard time not casting on myself. Can't wait to see pictures!!
