These were not my plan for February, but the other socks I am working on are no where near completion for this month, so this is it.
Pattern: Little Sky Sock "New Pathways for Sock Knitters" by Cat Bordhi
Yarn: Patons Classic Wool, Worsted Weight, Color: Forest
Needles: Addi Turbo 40" size US 5
Cast On: 2/18/08 Cast Off: 2/23/08
I made these to learn the techniques in the book, so there's really no intended recipient. I will be giving them to my friend for his boy though, I think they'll fit him for a while, he just turned one year old this month.

Very cute. Was the learning curve difficult on this pattern? I have the book and am a tad nervous about attempting a different "sockitecture."
No, it wasn't hard at all. When you read the book it looks odd, but when you are actually DOING it the book makes perfect sense and is easy to follow. Cat Bordhi also has videos on you tube, check those out they are very helpful to see if something doesn't seem clear in the book. Just search Cat Bordhi and all of them come up.
