Yup its been at least 6 months since I last posted. I hadn't finished anything since then either LOL. I started a pair in July and only finished the 1st sock but I've managed to finish the 2nd and another pair since then. ;)

Hello everyone ~ such lovely socks you'll been making. ;) These aren't from stash but they were made for a friend who purchased the yarn. I'm ashame to say it but these socks were began in March and I just finished them. Well, the short story ~ I began a new job right after casting on and life has been a rollercoaster ride every since. I'm just glad they are done and can't wait to see them in her clear chucks ~ aren't they purty?!

Been quiet....

Its been very quiet around here though I am working on socks again. After having to make the last pair in such a rush, I lost interest in knitting for a bit. Then I had an accident ~ my dog bite me and my hand had to heal before I could knit again.

I've cast on for 2 pr of socks though I frogged one of them today then reached into stash to begin a new pair ~ they are for my ds. I went back to the original yarn he'd asked for. So I'm knitting one pair from stash and another pr for a friend who requested a pr of Not Pedestrians for her new clear sneakers.

~ March Socks ~

I've finished the emergency socks and they will count as my march socks too. ;D I began these 2wks ago and finished the 1st sock in about day and half but it took over a week to make the 2nd. I'm now burned out and don't have a desire to make anything. I'm hoping after a road trip this coming weekend I'll feel better ~ need a little vacation. ;D Without futher ado ~ here are my march socks:

Hello everyone,

lovely socks ~ such an inspiration. I finally finished the first sock for the month and I've co for the 2nd one. Though my family have been making comments that it looks like the Grinch's sock or some other Dr. Seuss character, I hope the recipient likes it. It has been a pleasure to work w/the yarn. I am hoping to finish it w/i the next 2 days and will be working on it during a road trip today which will give me abit of uninterrupted time to work on it. Have a great day!

My Feb Plans

Hello everyone ~ the socks are lovely and I'm encouraged to get going on my own. I've started my plans with a pair for an exchange. I selected the following yarn from my stash and I hope the receipent likes it. I'm enjoying the feel of the yarn very much ~ its stretchy and smooth. The pattern is working up nicely too which makes it a joy to knit. I am hoping to make 2 pr of socks this month though I've not picked a pattern for the second pair yet. I'll update when I do. Hello fellow sockknitters,

I'm new to the group but not to socks unless you consider only a yr making them new. ;D I've been knitting consistently for that long though I learned many years ago. Didn't like it then but taught my dc to knit. My oldest dd loves it and actually hooked me in by asking for help to make baby socks. Last year, I discovered it was stress relieving so here I am. ;D

I don't have a large sock stash though my stash is growing but I have fallen in love with sock making so I now collect sock yarn and have officially decided it doesn't count as stash yarn. ;D
