Well, I can hardly believe it, but I am ahead of schedule for a change. We shall see whether Blogger is more cooperative today. The pattern is called Simply Cables, by Anni Design from Sockamania. The cables were tough going at first, but by the time I started the second sock, I felt much more competent with them. I love the classic elegance of this design and will definitely be doing it again. The socks were knit with Scheepjes Invicta Extra on size 0 circulars. I used a 5" bamboo double pointed needle to work the cables. The yarn really is not as vibrant an orange as the photo would suggest; it is more of a pumpkin color.
