2nd pair for March

I have finally finished the 2nd sock to the pair I started back in *&$$# ...... we won't say when *giggle* This pair was knit toe-up.

This pair was made with Tofutsies.

Pattern is Crosshatch Lace from More Sensational Knitted Socks.

Crosshatch Lace Socks

I have to say wearing handknitted socks feels very different then regular socks. I feel like I can feel every stitch on the balls of my feet. So weird. But my socks are still a bit loser than I would like. How many pairs will I have to knit before I really get the hang of knitting the "just right" size for my feet??

February Socks to Stash?

Here you can see that I finished my first February sock. Knitting them both at the same time, toe-up, was a great idea. Perhaps I knit looser at the start, since it's my first project in continental style knitting. I thought they fit ok after turning the heels, but now I realize the feet are just too long! That's long, when you wear size 10! Should I finish the second sock and hope they'll shrink in the dryer, or is it better to frog them, re-stash the yarn, and try again later? The Regia Cotton is 41% superwash wool, 34% cotton, and 25% polyamide. Any suggestions?

Sockknitting = Rocket Science!

The colors for my February socks look summery, in contrast to our snowy MN weather.
However, I've knit and unknit this toe way too many times today. It'll work soon -- just have to let off some steam here.
I'm using Knitty's Universal toe-up sock formula.
